Key facts on breast cancer

Breast cancer, like most of us know, one of the most common forms of cancer in women worldwide. Known as the abnormal growth of tumor cells in breast tissue.

Research shows that breast cancer is related to age and women who are 40 years of age have a higher risk of getting this cancer. It can also affect young women. Besides age, other factors that may increase the riskto have breast cancer, genetics, hormone levels, sex and race, and unhealthy lifestyle and diet.

Breast cancer can be classified into different regimes, l ', histopathology stage, grade, receptor status and DNA microarrays. These classifications to manipulate the prognosis and treatment.

Symptoms and Diagnosis

Treatment and medication
Breast cancer is usually treated by removing the cancer and after that patients need to go under radiation or chemotherapy, or both. Howevertreatments are given, depending on the doctor's diagnosis and outcome.

• Step 1 was treated with lumpectomy and radiation therapy. The aggressive type HER2 on the other side are treated with Herceptin (trastuzumab).
• Phases 2 and 3 are generally treated with mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation.

There are many groups around the world that supports cancer patients and their families to address the situation. This support group also helps to raise awareness about breast cancer. Prevention
Every woman has advice to prevent unhealthylifestyle and vices, such as cancer risk factor. However, the best prevention for any type of cancer is early detection. This is why women aged 20 are invited to an unusual examination of their breasts every month control humps and signs of other tumors in their breasts. Women in their 30's opinion on the examination of breasts by your doctor every year or two. While women in their 40 and above are required to have aMammogram every year.
