Chemotherapy drugs

Chemotherapy is the treatment used to kill or stop the growth of cancer cells. Chemotherapy drugs interfere with the life cycle of tumor cells and prevent their spread. Can be used as a single agent or in combination. Chemotherapy may be used before, after or in addition to surgery, biological therapy, radiotherapy and bone marrow transplantation.

There are several ways to give drugs such as oral medications that are shown inpill and liquid form to SIP and some can be applied directly to the skin such as creams, patches and lotions. Other drugs are administered by injection, which is injected with a syringe and needle into the muscles and body cavities or directly into the tumor area.

The needle gadget, used for drug is usually injected into a vein in your arm or forearm when the session initiation and can be removed at the end of the session. The other gadget is the catheter, which consists of a thin, flexibletube that is inserted into a large vein in the chest, back, arms, abdomen and pelvis.

Catheter types, some wire to the heart and some with different openings. Catheter can be used for long-term chemotherapy for the needle to minimize the number of poles that the patient needs to continue. Chemotherapy can cause some side effects such as abandonment, nausea, weight loss, hair loss, memory loss, sore mouth, etc., which may be temporary or permanent.
